Restaurant M: a one-word name that will leave you speechless
Restaurant M at 2 Miranova Place is the kind of place you'd want to take out-of-town guests as you show them the best that the city of Columbus has to offer. Stylish, sexy, and chic, Restaurant M is akin to a hot New York City eatery that Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha would have eaten at on the set of Sex and the City.
The interior is crisp and contemporary, with warm lighting and shiny tabletops. Artistic lighting effects light up some tables from underneath. The bar is back-lit by a series of colorful lights that bring out “ooohs” and “aaahs” from patrons.
The appetizer menu features items like a roasted tomato and goat cheese sandwich, scallops with truffle potatoes and roasted garlic jus, and seared duck fois gras with cashew butter. Delicious and unique, M's menu surely isn't replicated elsewhere.
Dinner options include pan-roasted Scottish salmon with herbs buerre blanc, leeks and tomato fondue; porcini-dusted white tuna with spring peas, wild mushrooms and lobster emulsion; veal tenderloin with an asiago crepe and shiitake mushroom sauce; halibut with crab-asparagus ravioli; and prime steaks like filet mignon and New York Strip; Maine lobster and lamb chops.
Be sure to save room for one of Restaurant M's fabulous desserts. Chocolate lava cake with raspberry port, vanilla bean custard with fresh berries, and apple fritters with dipping sauces are among the tantalizing choices.
Restaurant M has a fully-stocked bar with more than 70 varietals of imported and domestic wine.
Reservations are always helpful and ensure prompt seating. Business dress is required.
