Chase Academy for Communication Reviews

Chase Academy over the years has gone through change, this past school year is no different. The Board of Directors puts the education of our kids first and the new program is awesome with a capital A. Whether you have been a parent/student of Chase in the past or not you should come and check it out. You won't be disappointed!

Chase has gone through changes over its existence but my children have always excelled in academics. I am excited about the opportunities that are coming over the next year. The Board and the new staff are focused and ready to take our children to the next level.

I love this school! OVer the past year the board has worked dilegently on behalf of our children. Chase has new teachers who come from private schools and who have advanced degrees. They also have sports! The academics are designed to help all children be successful. I went to visit for my parent orientation and I am thrilled for my children!

Chase Academy has developed into a quality educational institution. Like many charter schools it has gone through a process of maintaining quality teachers that are committed to educating children. The school will expose children to an exceptional learning environment and provide them with non-traditional sports experiences. Parents seeking a quality education for their children which draws upon best practices should not pass up Chase.

Chase Academy was recommended to me by a friend who's child has gone there for 3 years. I've been very, very pleased with the quality of instruction for my third grader. She loves the school and her teacher. Ms. Jones, the director tries hard to work with a difficult population of kids and parents who are not used to a strucured school where the emphasis is on learning to think and learning to interact positively in all settings. Kids who have never read before learn to read at Chase Academy. Shy students become more confident. There are lots of field trips and projects that keep the kids interested in school.

This is my childrens 2nd year at chase. All 3 of my children love it .Every school has problems but they make up for it in their ability to really care about children.my kids are thriving. My oldest child went to the same columbus school for 5 yrs and the principal never could get either one of our names right. It took chase staff 2 weeks. My kids are never bored and in fact my 7th gradeer just came back from the All american presidential for hosted by tavis smiley in baltimore maryland all because ms jones sees potential in her students.Ms jones and her staff took time out to see that the kids could reach for a dream. My 3 kids in columbus public barely got 1 field trip.

My children attended Chase last year and they mostly watched tv in their makeshift classrooms (cubicles in the gym). They were bored all year. I had to remove them. They've probably learned more during the first 3 weeks at their new school than they had for 6 months at Chase.

Chase Academy has done absolute wonders for all 3 of my children. Especially my middle school son who has some issues with his academics as well as his behavior. Sadly, he struggles in many subjects, however the determination of his middle school science has done him wonder

The quality of the academic programs are unacceptable at Chase. There is an obvious lack of respect from staff towards parents and students. Music and sports programs are below mediocre. The level of parent involvement is non-existent. The administration prefers to make excuses or just ignore valid parental concerns.

The kids barely learn the basics... Teachers come & go.
