Natural Learning Montessori Reviews

I love this school. It is one of the great schools that let's the individual achieve it's fullest potential. Today, small community is the answer to molding the character and academics and NLMA exceeds those expectations. It is affordable and has a diverse student population. All of what you want come from this democratic ownership, with teachers voting in academic decisions, while business advisors lead the financial future.....Don't let it's little size scare you. It's the best secret deal for your child....having everything you need in one place.

An exceptional small school choice. The philosophy about children and the emotional social safety are a plus. I have had 2 children attend from preschool thru to middle school. The school has taught them so much about being responsible and caring. They are both self directed and still innocent. The administration has grown over the years and is really coming into it's own. But what can you expect when they most likely have put all of their money into great teachers. If you like alternative, this school stands at the top of the list. It lacks a few big programs and could use more students, but if you don't need to be on the football team and you like a smaller community, it ranks at the top of the list for me.

NLMA is not ready for prime time. Frankly, for the money it is extremely sub par. The school is very disorganized and chaotic and comes across as someones project and not a learning institution. The owner is very off-putting. We are now visiting schools for next year and we realize how far behind our child will be going into a 'real' private school. The only bright spot is that the school director and our child's teacher have always been willing to meet with us as parents to discuss any issues...but nothing ever gets resolved. Also, the teachers do seem to be very nurturing, but are not educators. NLMA was a big mistake for us, but we are moving on....

This school is excellent. Each child works at his own pace but is encouraged to be well-rounded. Our children love it and there are many extracurricular activities and outside learning opportunities. The school administration is a bit disorganized, so that can appear offputting at first, but as long as you are adaptable everything is fine. We feel our children are in great hands, and the quality of the teachers is tiptop. The student/teacher ratio is amazingly low and we feel this really matters. Each of our children gets a lot of personal attention. Since the number of students is small, the whole community becomes close. The best part of the school is the philosophy -- respecting yourself and others and non-violent conflict resolution are the cornerstones. Parent involvement is encouraged and homework is minimal.

This small private school is wonderful. My son is in the toddler school and has the most amazing teachers. Miss Linda is so patient and has the best philosophy. Miss Chianne is a parent who respects and loves the children. Thank you for such a great school!

I love this school. They are a small private school. Although they are small they are innovative in meeting beyond the state standards in a way that meets the parent, state and child's needs. It is a unique and individualized approach to learning. I have 2 children in the school.
