Lindbergh Elementary School Reviews

The worst experience every as a parent. I a have child who went to one of the best childcare facilities in Columbus, which was awesome. The change from going to a program that treated every child as an individual and with respect, to a school where the Teacher acted like the Grinch; was a very traumatic experience for my son and I. If you are one who is looking for a warm, nurturing, and loving environment for your child to develop in...look some where else.

Over the last couple of years there have been some real nice changes in this school. When my oldest (now 11) went there I was very displeased. There was no order. Now that my youngest (1st Grade) is attending there they are really helpful in getting him the help he needs. New administration really works hard to make things right. Keep it up.

Great school. Great teachers. My child is in second grade there and I am totally pleased with his education.

This school needs an overhaul--They don't have enough classrooms or teachers. They combine 1-2 graders in the same class, use trailer classrooms, and the teachers hardly have time to follow up on anything. The administrative staff leaves something to be desired with the bad tempered secretary and the fact that the principal retired 2 months before the year ended. This caused a confusion with the 'change of guard' where my children didn't get on the bus to latchkey and I was called at work to pick them up. I have a child that was having problems in class and it was next to impossible to get ahold of his teacher to discuss a strategy. I had to take off work and go in one morning. Not pleased with the school in general. Not alot of parental involvement, academics are below average, and extracurriculars are at a minimum.
