Our daughter was warmly welcomed, assigned a buddy to help her adjust, and within a month felt a sense of belonging. The school welcomes parents as volunteers, members of the PTA, and participants in Family Fun Nights. They have alot more parent participation nights and extra curricular events than the other Elem. schools in the area ... I have a older daughter that wen tto another school and my best frineds daughter went here and I could compare and harrisburg was above and beoynd and it has an excellent rating through the state as well.” This review was posted by a parent. I wouldnt be comfortable having her anywhere else! Although they may not be up to par as the city schools may be, the school makes up in what really counts in may other aspects of education.” This review was posted by a parent. Fun activites, after school program, close by extracurricular activities. What a positive adventure for any child. The school is focused on the whole child. The staff is truly dedicated and caring. There is significant parental involvement. Unfortunately, due to the size of the school, there is limited extracurricular activities of the sports nature.
