Pickerington Elementary School Reviews

The school staff has been excellent. The quality of learning is high. Great reading programs set up for both those that are struggling and those that are ahead. Excellent PTO program. There are many volunteers at the school. As a working parent I have found that I too can be involved. There are meetings that are held during the day and some in the evening. The school is crowded. There are two elementary schools being built within the next two years, which will help with this greatly!

Challenging curriculum and excellent teachers. Parent volunteering depends on the teachers.School is overcrowded so extra curricular activities are limited.A very friendly environment overall.

The staff is quality at this school. It is a public school, so they are limited somewhat to teach at certain levels; therefore, if your child is advanced in a particular subject, you may find yourself doing some tutoring at home to maintain that. Overall, we've been very pleased with the personal attention received, along with the calibur of the teachers and administration. Overcrowding is an issue in this school district and Pickerington Elementary is no exception, but all in all they have handled it well. I would recommend the school, and feel that they really do care about the students.

School is small and overcrowded at this time. Very few extra curricular activities, but the school is only K-4. The parent's that involved are good, but it always seems to be the same parent's over and over. This might have something to do with the fact that half of the PTO meetings are during the day (between 12pm and 3pm) when most working parents cannot attend. I have no complaints about the staff or their abilities with the children.
