I love this school. The teachers are great and the selection of activities are great. I'm excited to spend the rest of my high school years at CCHS. GO COMETS!

I am a student and have attended three high schools, all in different regions of the country. Central is by far the most impressive. Most of the teachers are hands on with the students and are willing to help them in any way possible. They become more than teachers, they become mentors and heroes. Their sports department is lacking a little, but its a new school. The althletes learn so much about teamwork and discipline. However, the arts program is phenominal. Theatre especially. I have never seen a high school production as profession and amazing. You can't find anything like it!

I have had a child in CCHS since the school opened its doors in August 2002. You could NOT ask for a better school. My oldest graduated in 2006 and was involved in the band and ROTC programs and my youngest started in August of 06 and has been involved with the band and theater. You could NOT ask for a better arts program anywhere! The teachers and principals care deeply for the kids and the school is suffering a great loss this year with Mr. Palmer's retirement. In 6 years, there has only been 1 teacher we've had trouble with and both my children had her. With that one exception, you couldn't ask for a better school!

We have two children at CCHS and we could not be happier. As a newer school, CCHS is state-of-the-art technologically and is a safe, academically focused environment. They have plenty of extra-curricular activities to suit the preferences of just about any student. Their performing arts (band, choir, theatre) are top-notch. The CCHS really cares about the students and the majority are have a do-whatever-it-takes-to-help attitude. We have considered moving to a larger house, but will only do so if we can stay within CCHS boundaries.

As a teacher having taught at the other three schools I can honestly say that Central Crossing is a very safe learing enviroment. The safest of the 4. Central Crossing being a school of excellence every year since being established has the highest attendance rate and academic scores in the district and are amongst the leaders in the state. If you are considering sending your kid here i would say that it is a great oppurtunity for you and your son/daughter. Thank you and God bless

As a student at CCHS, I can say that this school has a very nice academic agenda. There are plenty on AP and accelerated class offered to students. In addition, the school has great teachers that really care about their students. As for extracurricular activities, CCHS have very good music, theatre and club programs. But athletics is another story. For one, the programs are not very talented. And as an Ex-comet athlete I can definitely say there was a lot of politics involved within their athletic programs. But other than that, Central Crossing is a very nice to attend.

I work at CCHS and I can tell you that we want our students to feel safe so they can focus on their learning.

Central Crossing is an excellent facility where opportunity flourishes. The teachers at Central Crossing are welcoming and the principal is an amazing man who cares deeply about his students. Central Crossing is probably the best school in the area. Overcrowding is not a problem and the performing arts department is one of the strongest in the area.

If you attend it, prepare for unnecessary drug searchings, suspensions, office calls and complete nonsense. Is it really necessary to have cameras in every room and hall and have 4 hall monitors on duty? This is where your tax money is going. The school is not even in a bad area so it doesn't require this much security. Sure, after the Columbine shootings there is a need for more security, but come on. This is rediculous. If you want to be in sports, the teams are not very talented. The music program is really good. Art is not bad. They are cutting some art classes next year. Parent involvment could be better. It's a good school if you want your child to grow up being afraid of any and all authority, if you want them to have a closed mind and not think for themselves.

This school has excelled in everything, with it being in its third year and combining kids from 3 different high schools and different backgrounds, the teachers and staff have done a wonderful job. My son, who is a senior, was not happy about changing high schools 3 years ago but now he would not change a thing, he loves it. The extracurricular activities and the academic programs are superior. The community is having trouble getting a Levy passed this year (2004) to keep the superior academic programs and extracurricular activities but with any luck it will pass so the kids can excel in sports and academics.

The school is clean and well organized. I like the idea of the security system and the cameras. It's much easier to keep track of the kids during the school day.
