LEE serves a geographic area north and southwest of Columbus and currently has no license in Ohio for general electrical work outside the Columbus area. The only exceptions are the towns of Hamilton and Middletown, which both require a journeyman licence for general electrical work. A journeyman electrician's license is required for all commercial and private electrical engineering, maintenance, repair and maintenance work on electrical equipment.
In Middletown and Hamilton, however, the apprentice license allows electricians to install electrical wiring under the supervision of an electrician or electrical contractor. The rest of the state has the same general requirements, but you can work as an apprentice without having your own license. Most states also allow working with an "electrician employee" (a licensed electrician or contractor) as long as he or she has qualified to apply for a license and has become the licensed person. All these other - the - state allow one to "work" as a "licensed contractor" or "electrician's employee" with another licensed contractor or electrician for two years before being entitled to apply for an electrician's license.
You can use these references during the test, as well as your previous experience as an electrician, contractor or electrical contractor.
